The March edition of Babybug magazine has my cover on it and an illustrated poem. There's also a short interview I gave on the Babybug Blog.

Carlsen compiled a book of beautiful short stories, and I illustrated "Die Prinzessin auf der Erbse" by H.C Andersen and "Traumschuhe für Lilian" von Isabel Abedi.

On the 22th of December our little daughter was born.

Well, this comes a little late, but in June my students and me did a very cool 2-day-excursion in Hamburg. We visited two publishing houses, Der Spiegel and GEOmini, saw lots of art in the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe and at the Lead Award exhibition, were told many insights into the illustration business by Jonas Lauströer and Igor Kuprin and had fun doing sight seeing and drawing Hamburg's nightlife.

Hooray, this is so cool, two of my works have been picked for the 3x3 annual Children's Show. This illustration got a gold medal. It's a work for "Das Meer Seiner Worte", published with Baha'i-Verlag. The second prize I got was bronze for my lovely penguin, "Pengouin glacé", which was published with La Joie de Lire.

This was a nice job for Oxford University Press, thanks to Lily and Lorraine!
